What’s the difference between Courtesy Pay and Overdraft Protection?
Courtesy Pay: We’ll pay for the overdraft transaction up to a certain limit, giving you time to put funds back into your account without interrupting life.
Overdraft Protection: We’ll automatically transfer funds in increments of $50.00 from your linked account, such as your Savings, to cover what you owe.

Is there a minimum balance I must maintain?
There is no minimum balance that must be kept in your Checking Account.

How do I make a deposit to my accounts?
You can deposit funds to your accounts by mobile deposit, ATM, by mailing your deposit to us, by visiting one of our shared branching locations around the country, or by visiting any OE Federal branch location.

How do I set up Direct Deposit?
Speak with your employer to have your paycheck direct deposited to OE Federal

I don’t have a valid ID, can I still open an account?
Government regulations require us to obtain current, valid ID from all new members. Please reach out to us so that we can review your specific situation.

I have a checking account but when will I receive my debit card?
Due to supply chain issues, members waiting for their debit cards may experience a delay of 6 weeks from the date their membership application is received. This includes a mailing time of five to seven business days. In the meantime, we encourage you to sign up for online banking so that you have access to your vacation pay funds as soon as they become available. Through online banking you can deposit checks, transfer funds to other financial institutions, pay bills, set up automatic transfers, and so much more!

What should I do if my debit card is lost or stolen?
Call us immediately at 800.877.4444.

Can I add a joint owner to my account and request a debit card?
To add a joint owner, we require a new membership application and a copy of the individual’s current, valid, government issued ID. We are happy to mail you the required documentation.

What is my debit card limit?
There is a daily limit of $1,525 for POS transactions and $750 for ATM transactions. If you need a higher limit, please reach out to us.

How much can I withdraw from an ATM?
The daily withdrawal limit is $500. This means you can make as many withdrawals from an ATM as you would like as long as your total amount does not exceed $500.

What are the fees if I overdraw my checking account?
There are three potential types of fees you could incur if you overdraw your checking account. They are:
- Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) – If you don’t have enough money in your account to cover the transaction, we may return it unpaid and charge you a $25 fee.
- Overdraft Fees – If you are registered for our Courtesy Pay program, your checking share may be overdrawn up to $300 to cover transactions. A fee of $25 will be charged.
- Overdraft Protection Fees – You can sign up for Overdraft Protection by linking your checking and savings accounts. If you have insufficient funds to cover an item in your checking, we will transfer funds in increments of $50 to cover the item. A fee of $3 is charged for this service.

I never got my membership information, what do I do?
If you successfully opened your account with OE Federal and cannot locate your membership information, call us at 800.877-4444.

How do I obtain my account number?
We’ll provide your member/account number in one of two ways:
- Members who complete our Online Membership Application and do not require additional review will receive their account number immediately.
- For members who apply through a paper application or whose Online Membership Application requires additional review, will receive their account number via email after their membership is opened.
Once your membership is established, you can also obtain your account number by phone or by visiting any branch location.

What do I need to open a Checking Account?
To establish your account, we need a completed membership application (either online or mailed to us) and a current, valid government issued ID.

Will I receive checks?
We don’t send checks automatically with your account. You can order checks through online banking or call us.

Where is the nearest Branch or closest Shared Branch?

Do you offer mobile deposit?
Yes! We offer an easy to use mobile banking application on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Search for “OE Federal Credit Union”.

Can I speak to someone at OE Federal Credit Union on the weekend or after hours?
Yes, we have telephone support available for you outside of our standard business hours. Call us at 800.877.4444 to reach someone.

Am I able to transfer funds from another financial institution to OE Federal? Is there a service charge?
Using your account number and our routing number (321176260), you can establish automatic transfers between financial institutions. There is no fee to receive funds to your OE Federal account.

Are my funds insured and how much are they insured up to?
